Fishing Lake

Our stunning tree-lined, 3-acre natural lake is perfect for days and nights of coarse and carp fishing with Wild, Mirror and Common Carp, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Tench, Pike and Perch all present in good numbers.

Our lake is not open to the general public, and with no closed season*, it really does make for a great fishing holiday or weekend break in the heart of Somerset.

Cheddar Gorge & Caves – Visit Britain’s biggest Gorge, a truly iconic natural gem nestled in the mendip hills.

Wookey Hole – If you're looking for caves, legends and adventure then you must visit the Wookey Hole, the largest and most spectacular show caves in England.

Mendip Activity Centre – This outdoor activity centre offers over 25 activities to enjoy.

Quantock Trekking – Take a guided horse ride on the Quantock Hills. 

Build a sandcastle on Minehead’s long flat sandy beach and enjoy the promenade with its cafés, bars and shops.

Or take a trip to Weston-Super-Mare – the original British seaside resort with its fabulous beach and Grand Pier, a super day out for the whole family.
